The RiCH Company, LLC., a diverse solutions provider based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, welcomes RiCH Interpreting to the RiCH Company Family of Companies. RiCH Interpreting (www.richinterpreting.com) not only provides community-based American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services, but also provides vocational interpreting and job coaching services designed for the Deaf and Hard‐of‐Hearing community.

“The introduction of RiCH Interpreting to the RiCH Company Family,” says Richard C. Hay, company founder and CEO, “adds to our commitment to innovation and continues our obligation to our motto: providing ‘Individual Solutions for Unique Individuals’.”

RiCH Interpreting provides three distinct services, each heavily tailored to the needs of all involved in a given
situation:

  • Community-based Interpreting: RiCH Company interpreters strive to facilitate communication between Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals and hearing individuals using American Sign Language (ASL) and are able to process information quickly and accurately. Company interpreters have the necessary experience, training, and fluency in ASL to work in various settings.
  • Vocational Interpreting: Vocational interpreters strive to facilitate communication between Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals and hearing individuals through ASL, and through various other modes of communication in order to match the language to the clients they serve.  Vocational interpreters work in settings such as job interviews, job orientations, job training, in-service and staff meetings, monthly reviews, disciplinary meetings, and more.
  • Job Coaching: RiCH Interpreting job coaches are fluent in ASL and spoken English and have the skills necessary to work with both employer and Deaf/Hard‐of‐Hearing employee. The job coach's goals are to help the client become proficient at the job and to ensure that the client continues to perform at or above the employer’s level of expectation. Job coaches are not strict interpreters, but rather tutors, teachers, advocates, cultural mediators, and facilitators of communication.

RiCH Interpreting joins RiCH Computer Services, RiCH Vocational Services, The RiCH Company Arts, RiCH Properties, the Wisconsin Social Club, and The Writing Café as a member of the RiCH Company Family of Companies. With clients throughout Wisconsin and throughout the world, the RiCH Company provides diverse
services all founded in a need to continually innovate, a passion to provide exceptional services, and a commitment to tailor everything to the needs and demands of each individual client.
